To beat the dark and dreary winters, think about heading to the Southern Hemisphere and enjoying the beaches of Australia. In your motorhome, you can find those tucked away remote beaches where you aren’t forced to sit cheek by jowl with other tourists who don’t have a camper.

If you’re eager to get away from city hustle and bustle, the Gower Peninsula is the part of Wales you need to visit. It’s just four hours’ road trip from London, but if you were to traverse the globe, you’d be hard-put to find a prettier spot.
